But what is inspiration?
Is it when the darkness clouds your vision with shadows of the past
through the dark a vague light shimmers
patiently waiting to wash away the pain of the past
Or is it when the city’s street curb is now the place you dream of a better day
While the blistering wind whips at your fragile frame
shivers evolve your body and eating is your hardest obstacle
yet the last penny in your tattered pocket
is handed off to a complete stranger
Or is it when you finally break free
All the struggles and worries once had are
smashed
shattered
shredded
because you are now free
you are a river of emotions and passion while your heart spills out with words you never would have said before
