Land of déjà vu
The land of déjà vu is familiar
in a specifically vague kind of way.
A thick fog gives off just enough confusion blindness to not know exactly what your remembering, but it's still crammed into your psyche. Wedged into your mind are the lakes of misplaced memories, the endless miles of lost trains of thought, and the crumbling foundations of dreams not forgotten, just not present in your mind at the moment.
The dreams that we don't remember...where do they go?
We may never know but I'd like to think I'm not the only one who goes out in public and something random happens but seems so familiar it's creepy...
Perhaps they go to a land called déjà vu.
You don't remember them but they are subconsciously documented and reminded of at a later date.
Filed away in the back of your mind, only remembered by certain triggers, be it as simple as a dog crossing the street or to the complicated process of a series of events.
I believe nothing is truly forgotten, just not remembered readily for you to recite.
Dreams are not forgotten, just a seed planted to sprout later.
