From A Friend To A Brother
t was one of the most memorable moments,
it was 2012, when we were 11 years old.
We didn’t really know each other, neither did i like him.
i just thought of him as a friend, well he is
my friend but not exactly, i will tell you why!
We met at forekicks,
during my brothers soccer game.
I saw him playing with a soccer ball,
and i wanted to join. so i went to him,
and asked if i could play. He said no, and i beat him up,
and walked away with the ball.
That was the point where i hated him, not dislike but hate.
The next week i had soccer practice, but with a new team.
I didn’t know who was on the team,
but that the person i hated was there.
We kept playing soccer together for days and days,
and i really got to know him. There we became friends,
and started hanging out with eachother everyday.
He became my best friend,
telling me things he wouldn’t tell his friends, or his girlfriend.
He knows everything about me,
and i know everything about him.
He wasn’t really my best friend, he was like my brother.
he was like my brother from another mother. :)
We became from disliking each other to best friends, brothers.
Soccer is what brought us together, communicating,
sharing the ball.
Every sport is worked with teamwork,
can make you get along with one another,
or even hate one another. But at the end, the coach’s speech
just makes you feel like brothers.
Since today, he is still my brother,
he is still always there for me,
and always tells me the right thing to do.
He was my friend, to my brother.
