She smiled and said that everything is fine, as she suffered on the inside
She lied to her family,as well as her friends
She regretted her choices and hid away in her own self hatred
She hid her cuts behind her jeans and her fake smiles
The dismal truth is she caused the cuts
She wanted and wished to change her past, but knew she can’t
But now...
She feels strength
She shows true smiles
She doesn’t hide away
Her past has faded in her mind, like her scars on her skin
She now truly feels that she is...
