Now is the time
To press my hands inside my head
And pull the memories steeped
In frozen calendar years.
They circle around the carousel of horses,
Embedded in my life with a blur and a touch of sadness.
Quickly the mouse must worm its way
Out of the maze of memories
Heading towards the present
