Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we all sit down
To sing Christmas carols
And look at the tree
Who wears an angel as a crown.
Then we all go to bed
Excited and pleased because
That man who wears red
Will eat our cookies
That we've left on a plate
Yummy and fresh
To celebrate the day the
Word became flesh.
