Deserts Beauty
A desert sun skorches the earth,
The skies clear of clouds,
Like a canvas that's been erased.
Chirps of birds fill the air,
The shade of a tree is salvation.
Every child laughs in the sun,
The rays casting a glow on everyone,
Illuminating their souls and showing joy,
But when it sets, a twilight is shown,
Like a battle between light and dark.
Although in the dark beauty still shows,
The sound of nothing will fill the air.
Families rest while others hunt,
The stars a light to forever grow.
While its dark we can see so clear.
The moon is our guide,
We follow it so,
To the center of beauty,
Where the water flows,
To find this is a sight to see.
This is the beauty of nature.
It revolves around everything.
It grows with us over years,
from the very beginning to the end.
Like a flower it wilts,
But will become even more beautiful later.
