Do you have a person?
Not a person who you possess because you birthed them, or one you have to live with,
but, do you have a person?
Someone you didn't know at one time in your life.
Someone who reaches into your soul and pulls things, memories,  
stuff,   
out of you,
the bad stuff,
the weird stuff,
the crazy stuff, the funny stuff, the beautiful stuff
pulls all of it out and examines it,
and then tells you,
"you are beautiful"

Do you have a person?
One who promises the world to you
who would not only cross oceans,
he would actually find a way to build a bridge across one,
just to walk you home and say goodnight.

Do you have a person?
who is silly
and beautiful
and amazing
and worth it?

Do you have a person?
Someone to take the pain out of a normal day.
Someone who endeavors to be everything to you.

it would be nice wouldn't it.
to have someone.

to be loved.
