You and I
The difference between you and I,
I see dark things, you live through
Life with one seeing Eye.
You're beautiful and fragile,
A beauty to behold,
While I am alone and cold,
The lonely pain is nothing to be told.
You're sweet and sincere, a
Magic gift for the gods in heaven,
Whereas me, I am Satan's
Brethren,
A sin made in the shackles of
Hell.
A lonely apology that was never said,
In the purity of heaven.
I am pain, I am lies, I am
All that makes you cry.
You are love, you are truth, you
Are all that makes me die,
You are flowers, I am crows,
You are highs, I am lows.
Complete polar opposites,
Living as one, together in time,
But constantly alone.
I am you, as you are me,
And we are both the same.
Without my dark, you have no
Light,
No precession to honor your
Pathetic name.
Without your light, I have
No dark,
No prison to hide away.
Without each other, we would
Both die,
Together we could be alone.
Never to face the light of day.
You are me. I am you.
And we are both the
Same.
A cold shattered body, alone
With the truth,
Crushed and with no
Name.
