Cutters

People laugh,

Mock,

Tease,

Ridicule,

And bully,

But do they see,

The repercussions of their actions?

The scars inside as well as outside?

They call us attention seekers,

Emos,

Worthless,

A waste of space.

But do they know our pain?

NO!

They don't.

If they knew

It would bring them to their knees.

Why can't they see?

The pain we go through,

The pain we feel.

They don't see how we don't flinch

But for us it is our only serenity,

Our only peace

The blade of a razor,

Or knife

Cutting deep,

Deep into our soft flesh.

But how can they know what they don't understand?

How good the blade feels,

As its biting into our flesh,

Drawing blood,

And watch the crimson drops turn into streams,

Watching the crimson streams run down our bodies.

Do we feel the pain?

No,

We only feel the joy and peace it brings us.

We don't do it for attention

We do it for us, We do it because we wanna feel...

Free, happy, peaceful

Don't we deserve to be happy to?

Don't 'dis' what you don't understand.

I'm tired of seeing and hearing people laugh about people who cut or cutting in general, its not a laughing matter. People lose their lives everyday just to get away from the pain of life. People who do this aren't "attention seekers" they do it because physical pain is better then emotional pain. They do it because it allows them to express themselves in their own way. There are people whose lives are really bad and they can't get away so they find their own way to deal with things. I guess my point is don't joke about cutting there is more to it then what people think. Don't judge on appearance, or social classes and be nice, and kind to everyone. You never know by doing that you may just save someones life who is ready to give up.
