The Great Woolly Mammoth
I had a life,
It was filled of running, trampling, and eating.
I was the biggest, strongest, scariest animal.
I walked with my family, miles upon miles daily.
Then it started to get colder and colder.
The ice cut through the ground.
My family kept on getting smaller and smaller.
Then I was alone, slowly dwindling
coffin of ice for thousands of years.
Then they found me.
I thought I could rule the land again.
Run in the fields, no.
Instead I’m put up for display.
Listening to people say “Look how big he is.”
I’m no longer feared.
Instead I’m decoration.
