consumed in a distant world
a world of submissive mankind sharing opinions
where gossip is spread in the matter of seconds
So much time
just thrown away
not staying true to who you are
and assuming it’s acceptable to hurt others
So much time
that you can never get back
used on reading pointless words
that are often misspoken
A world where people don’t care
if you are loved,
if you are lonely,
if you are hurt,
or if you are broken
Where the false concepts,
rumors,
and expressions
suddenly become the truth
and the well-known
How sad it is that we misapply
so much time
to a world that doesn’t matter
