Our aspirations are our possibilities- Samuel Johnson

Over the sky forms foaming clouds,
As vicious as dogs attack,
People scatter in imposing crowds.
The sky deepens to charcoal black.
The lighting mix begins to brew,
Thunder cracking sound,
Zeus releases his lightning due,
A parade hits the ground.
Wind spins in a blurry daze,
God’s breath destroying homes,
His anger does begins to blaze,
Ripped towards a wind filled dome.
Angry faces bare their teeth,
Their heads form the clouds,
They bite, they snatch with no sheath,
The rage covers towns.
Small drops turn to hail,
Golf balls smash the floor,
Each one not intent to bail,
Hitting heads and cars and doors.
Clouds hover over the sky,
except for one small spot,
Light does break through the eye,
This thickens the plot.
You cannot fly where it cannot be warm,
Where yonder light breaks,
The eye of the storm The eye of the storm,
The Gods have risen the stakes.

This is a piece I wrote about the eye of a storm. I used the use of God's because many believe that weather is caused by God(s) or is the angry people of the world fighting us or punishing us.
