The Lion
An ever changing plain was held before the lion
It shifts and moves, never sitting still
Small hills pop up then smooth out
Where vibrations move like silk
Bellow the plain was ground carved so smooth
It was white as clouds and hard as stone
It kept the other plains apart
It was the great white wall
Blue as the sky and Cold as the ice
This plain shocked even the warmest hearts
Its size filled its massive space
The farther you were the thicker it looked
Roaring Thunder claps interrupt the silence
Loud it came and was sustained
Growing louder with in the echo
In a quick minute it’s gone
Bang goes the drum
Powerful and swift
A crash from the sea and the thunder is back
This cycle goes on and on for hours it seems
It is time for the lion to cross the plain
The fight kicks in and he can’t hold still
He climbs atop the slanted pedestal
Bang goes the sound and in a great leap he goes in
The lion fights the whole way
He reaches to the stone white wall only to turn around
The race goes on the end, it is close but so far
The lion reaches finishes his battle
Out of breathe barely standing
He turns around to see his score
He beat his last and bestowed a medal
He conquered the ever changing plain again
