i came
expecting
complete darkness
utter chaos
demons
with drawn claws
and a glorious defeat
vidi
i saw
bursts of light
against the dark
angels
dancing
to an
unworldly
tune
ignoring
the fear
that surrounds
vici
i conquered
that is a lie
victory nor defeat
was given
yet
many still
believe the lie
masked
unwilling
to remove it
as i have
