The (Pencil) Point of an Artist
To breathe is to think,
To think is to create,
To create is to run wild and free part way to the unreachable brink.
To the brink is to end,
To end is to void,
To void is to grasp at silence and let the gap distend.
So grasp at straws, run with your creation and your heart.
Run 'til your breath draws short,
With every thought,
As one day you will cease
To be.

Honestly, I was inspired by my art teacher's closed mindedness, and a doodle on the back of a Biology exam. I hope fellow artists understand that reaching an end should never be the goal, it's what we learn and discover in the process, and it's a part of every sentient being.
If one doesn't at least try to develop every potential piece then how can a big break ever happen? Shying away only leaves a dead mind.
