Every storm runs out of rain
Leaving things clean, happy, rainbow-like
Tell that to my ever present pain
Constricting my creative airways
Leaving me choke on bogus joy
Causing me to withhold what I really think
Repeating back what ever you want to hear
Not allowed to think with high intelligence
Forcing me to act a certain way to fit your cookie cutter image

Not everyone is rainbows and butterflies happy
Some appreciate the dark side of reality
So, this is me choosing self expression over you restrictive domain
I will think independently
Say what I truly mean
I will break your molds
The one you so desperately tried to keep me in
I won't let you let your drag me down around
Or strangulate my creativity any longer
It's time for you to experience my rain
You and your fiery inferno
Will no be showered in reality
Not the false truth you advertise constantly
But true, honest reality
This is me fighting back
No longer are you going to control my life.
