a boat to nowhere
A long time ago
A poor country was under an embargo
Three men so unfortunate and broke
Were looking for life everywhere
They were active but no job for them
They didn't know how to read
Neither understand big expressions
Each of them had big family
One 7,another 7,the other 11 children
To take care with their wife who also did nothing
These men were not christians
But they used to pray in every situation
One day, they all took a decision
To risk their life to find a solution
"We will never steal",they said
So lets look for woods and build a boat
After building it,they didn't have a sail
So each of them had to give a coat
After all were at point
They went to their wife and explained
That they had to take the sea
To find an opportunity to make life easy
The wives were sad,but their husband was right
They kissed them, gave them a family picture
They brought the boat on the coast
And to eat they've killed a goat
"Enough is enough",they said
And went on the sea so resigned
3 days passed, their food was ended
No water to drink, and winds blew
So terrible were the waves too
They were afraid and hungry
They were thinking of their family
One week is already gone
but their trip wasn't yet done
They still didn't have a destination
They didn't know where they were
They didn't have what to wear
Their voice was weak
Their mouth had a bad smell
They were very desperate
They decided to throw themselves in water
One said,"let each of us calls our God,
May be he'd provide something good
On the sea they were very hopeless
And they were emported by stress
They started to remember every promise
That had made each to their princess
Atlantic or Pacific Ocean
They can't tell you by ignoring their map
A boat to nowhere
Was taking three men somewhere
So they could keep looking for life everywhere
They were singing all kind of songs
Gospel,jazz,carnival,and vodoo
They were begging different divinity
Guinea,Aguea,and God too
To bring them a little bit comfort
Three men on a sea
Looking food for their family
Three weeks after still on the boat
They saw that they were approaching a coast
Joice was illumined on their face
They thought that their God had given them grace
They advanced so fast, the coast was still far
Far away, there was a green light
That made them believe hope is with them
They trusted no matter what they had to win
Finally they reached a plage
A silent ,so isolate place
They were finished per realize
That was the end of their voyage
A boat to no where
Took three men somewhere
They were at a new place it's true
But they still didn't have food
One week passed there was no phone to transmit the news
To advertise that their boat didn't meet the flood
They woke up a morning, they decided to walk
To meet someone to invite them to work
Don't forget guys,they were illegal
They didn't speak any language else than creole
They were walking so happy
And they looked like people wealthy
As they walked,they heard something
An old man in a tower was fallen
He needed someone to throw him a rope
But many passed before and just go
When they got near ,they gave him hope
By making a long rope with their coat
When he got out,he was grateful
And in their native language this man was introduced
They were expected to hear that he didn't understand
The old man so happy said"me too,i'm haitian"
He said you all deserved a compensation
So,he gave them his great habitation
They were so happy and rich
They called their family to say
That their dreams are realized
Their problems are solutionned
Three months later, the old man went
To the Embassady to make an appointment
3 years later,here a surprise
The three whole family were came by
The husbands were enjoying
At the same time questionning
Waw,a boat to nowhere
Had been changed everything...
