No One Knows
It is wet and may seem soulless,
but hugs you in a blanket of peace and serenity.
The frozen voice makes music
for the ones that can’t hear,
words for who can’t speak,
and love who can’t feel.
To those who think you are dark and cold
they don’t know like I do.
Your shimmer brings smiles.
It is indescribable how lovely a presence you bring.
Oh how beautiful a morn you send.
Your icy floor gleams with the color of imagination
and whispers secrets hidden forever beneath your bed.
You are fun.
Pleasures in store no one can comprehend.
With you, everyday is a new adventure
just waiting to be explored.
No one can create what you create.
It’s patterns are one of kind.
Each that falls is a new surprise
just wanting to be touched,
for as soon as does no trace is found.
Except the warm feeling it left in it’s place.
Others of my kind are afraid of the jagged teeth,
suspended in the air.
But it is only jewelry decorating your pale neck
and shows how enchanting you are.
Just the mere thought of you not being here
sends shivers down my spine.
Your my best friend
but also a mother,
in the way you take care of me.
And when you leave and let your sister
replace you.
I await your arrival 4 spaces away
and know your sprit is with me until
we meet again.
