Color Me Green
Sometimes I’m green,
Tranquil, soft and quiet like a summer breeze,
I don’t mind the silence of a lonely room,
Or when the only company I know is a book,
I’m level-headed, patient and translucent to the world,
But other times I’m yellow,
I’m crazy, loud, and sarcastic,
I love being the cause of laughter and confident,
If you’re down I’ll be sure to pick you up,
Because when you’re down the mood follows and I can’t stand it,
I fill space with noise and happiness,
I’m right there and ever present,
Always helping someone along.
