The tiny flake
who’s one in a million,
like a star.
Falling
from the unknown
through the frigid air.
White and cold,
weightless and glittery.
So fragile
the littlest of warmth
can melt it.
Falling from the heavens.
so pure,
like an angel,
with its powerful wings
spread wide.
Twirling delicately
showing off its unique angles,
like a graceful dancer
performing its final ballet
through the misty
winter
night.
