I am from...
I am from Pink and White cows and a T-rex named Willow
I am from Stickers at the bank, Lights gleaming purple and Laughter.
I am from cardboard Boxes of less and less of my childhood, of my Glass Dolls.
I am from ReynaKorns and Papa Bears,
I am from Screamo, and Country, Rap and Classic.
I am from Yeeha, Mountains with white caps, and the sound of Moos .
I am from Ochopocho and Blue grass full of Little people.
I am from Independence and days of Torment, husbands and Fantasy lives.
I am from Thousands of shoes that don’t fit the Foot,
I am from being Forgotten and nights of Sorrow.
I am from Agony in my knee and Pain to his legs,
I am from Four dads too caught up to Care.
I am from Ready, Get Set, Fail!
I am from Cold showers in the Woods, and red Blood dripping from my Lips.
I am from Flying aircrafts and Combat boots.
I am from Panthers in the night, Wolves of gray, and Elephants with blue eyes.
I am from Dreams and my Past.
Inspired by George Ella Lyon’s original poem “Where I am from”
