Gone Girl

Alone and isolated
That’s how she feels.
All she wanted was love,
But there is no one there.
You are the bully.
Why can’t you understand,
How much she hurts.

All Alone
How could you push her?
She smiles to hide the pain
You are the bully
Pushed her down,
And laughed in her face
Do you understand the affliction you cause?
Her parents are drunk and abusive,
Not safe at home
Now, because of you, not safe at school,
No safe haven to hide away at.
She just needs a friend,
Someone to reach out to.
No one likes her,
No one can see her pain.

All Alone
You called her ugly,
She tries so hard to be pretty for your approval.
You are the bully.
Every time you beat her,
The cuts get deeper.
How could you push her?
She pops pills to ease the pain,
“Nobody will ever love you!”
Yeah, she knows.

Where is she?
She is not at school today
How could you push her?
The loudspeaker clicks on
You hear your name,
Report to the office.
Your parents are there,
The police, they have sad news.

Time stands still

Now do you understand?
She is gone.
Alone and Isolated, that’s how you feel,
That’s how you made her feel.
Feel the guilt close in,
Never meant for it to go this far.
Wish you could take it all back.

A young life was taken today,
What a waste,
She had a beautiful future.
But now she is gone,
That one push took her away.
You may not have been there when she did it,
But, it was your hand
That pulled the trigger.
