The Tables Have Turned
Oh, how the tables have turned
Your pain now greater then mine.
My hurt almost crushed me, obliterated me
How will you now fare?
My pain was one that built and destroyed me
Always needing a release in the form of crimson cuts
On the pale skin of my body.
In the form of vices that have ruined others stronger than me.
Razors, drugs, alcohol, and sex.
Will that pain be passed to you?
When will you have to cut open your skin too?
Will you resort to vices like me in order to lose yourself?
The tables have turned, pain passed along.
Your pain over me will kill you inside
Until you can no longer hide from the damage you've done
From the pain you've wrought.
I hope it hurts as much as mine
So that you can understand that losing you was more than I could bear.
How does it feel to see me happy while you wallow in Dispair?
