White Walls
How do i even begin to start?
A world full of varieties but for some
reason i feel to appear the only one to stand
out.
In a room full of white folk,
but I'm the only black. Four
white walls but I'm the only speck.
I search for a way out
bull all around me is
white lights. No way out
of these white walls. Except through
the white door.
A girl like me who's black
has no chance. I say Hi, or
Hello but every one just stare.
I sit in the back in the middle of
the four white walls. I tally my day
on them four white walls.
My time is near I still have hope, but
until then I'm still the black speck on
the four white walls. I sit in the middle
of the four white walls. I the black girl is
the four white walls
