Sentimental me
Grab my hand, so my big finish will be grand.
Make sure the door is locked, so I will have to knock.
You have to be kind and have an open mind,
When I show you a part of me never to be seen.
The lose string on my coat, my dreams on a sticky note,
The colorless walls, the secret spaces on which I crawl,
A face among the crowd, the smallness of my home town,
The trees that I now bleed, the last leaf on the apple tree.
The love for my dog, How I can admit that I was wrong,
My erratic birthday suit, my too many flavors vegetable soup
My whole life I have decreed to live in my own fantasy.
We’ll have wide eyes and a beautiful ride.
