I have
I never had a playlist made for me
Just for me
I never starred in a 80s movie
With a soundtrack that would go down in history
I never had ballet
Or the mean instructor with the rosy cheeks
I never read a poem that made sense to me
Completely
I've never felt right in my own skin
Not even the proudest moments
Or after a major win
I have had my dreams come true
Or someone who can make me
Stop feeling blue
I have been loved unconditionally
By a mom
Who puts my life before hers
And even at my worst
She never gets too angry
And burst
I have had ups and downs
But sometimes it's get better
And even in the coldest weather
Someone I love
Always has a spare sweater
I am not a mean person
But I’m not always nice
My imagination is endless
and my life will suffice.
