My favorite place would have to be
The place I can most of all be me.
With a cold, chrome door handle feeling like it’s stuck on glue
It’s still a getaway home.
This place makes me the happiest Sunday of all.
No matter if it’s Wednesday or Tuesday or even a Monday,
I’m welcome any time.
No certain reason, day, or rhyme.
I walk in to hear to the most shocking sound.
Breaking Benjamin’s beat rocking all around.
I look left to right to see where everyone has gone,
And then came the dawn.
Nick will be in his room playing Pokemon like always.
I love walking in to see his head raise.
A smile on his face and a smile on mine,
It’s Netflix time.
