Where Im From
I am from the mitten state,
From apple trees and Huron Lake.
I am from a warm summer breeze,
To a harsh cold and falling of leaving.
I am from an industrial motor city,
from sand dunes and a welcoming comitee.
I am from Mackinaw Island,
to Gaylord, the highland.
I am from Grand Rapids,
From singing birds and rabid rabbits.
I am from a great state with no competition,
From a place called Michigan.
