I'm From Love
I’m from love,
from heartbreak young.
I’m from a home in two
-but more love than ever.
I’m from two houses,
but only one home.
One in which I am loved,
The other in which I’m alone.
I’m from caring,
caring with full hearts,
for a daughter,
a daughter that had a world ripped in two.
I’m from family-
not one but two-
One in which I fully belong too,
The Other-gone-never to be rekindled.
I’m from strength,
Strength to get back up-
to rebuild,
Strength to forgive, but not forget.
I’m from the broken cookie syndrome
from a mother and grandma.
A mother who gives us her all
A father-a figure there,
But not with me.
I’m from Live,
from Rebuild,
Forgive,
Cherish,
Love.
I’m from Faith,
Happiness,
Childhood days.
I’m from Home,
Not a house-
A Home.
I’m from Love.
