Hey there little fighter,

I heard you're going through a hard time.

With the world's weight on your shoulders,

I know you'd rather say goodbye.

Hang in there little soldier,

You'll make it through this fight.

You'll know theres something better,

when you finally see the light.

You've got to make an effort,

To win this very fight.

Just listen to your heart,

Don't listen to your mind.

So give me the sharp razor,

Give me the pointed knife.

Give me the burning lighter,

It'll all be alright.

I know you hate the scars,

That lay upon your arm.

So flush away the razor,

And embrace all the marks.

Some aren't going to fade.

Some will stay forever.

They might go away,

But you'll always remember.

Darling, I know its rough,

But you'll get through this.

Because you are tough,

And you are worth it.

From now on look forward.

Don't you dare look back.

It's time to move onward.

Move on from the Past.

The author's comments:

I was in a very dark place and found poetry as a coping mechanism. I wrote this to help bring my thoughts into a better thinking pattern.

I want people to know that they are not alone and that there is ALWAYS someone there for you, even if you don't believe it yourself. I NEED you to talk to an adult if you are having any thoughts about suicide, self harm, or any other destructive behaviors.

Thank you,
