If I had a flower

If I had a flower
I got from you,
I'd want to rip the flower apart.
I would rip off the petals,
One by One,
For each time you broke my heart.
The Petals would fall,
Just like my tears,
Slowly and laced with pain.
Because a flower doesnt
heal a broken heart,
Or cure a sore memory
from the brain.
But in reality all
I would do, was
smile and respect your gift,
In hopes of one day
tearing the flower
to pieces and bits.
