Why?
Why am I here?
Who needs me,
for I am just me.
Only me, nothing special
nothing new
just simply me and me alone.
How I ponder, looking for a purpose for no purpose at all.

Maybe just maybe
we’ve been placed on this blank page
feeling the wrath of this blank page,
but for what?
What is our purpose exactly?

There is no purpose
we live as lungs with no air
sunglasses yet no sun
cars with no wheels
cell phones with no service
utterly pointless is what we are

Could our purpose be to make this blank page kind,
to create new pages?
Or perhaps our purpose is to find our purpose.
