Never Enough
The feeling is mutual
I hate you,
You hate me.
Simple as that.
We don’t talk,
Arguing fills the silence
You’ll start by telling me,
I’m not good enough.
I’m not smart enough.
I’m not fast enough.
You compare me to everyone.
They got 100,
You got a 99.
Why can’t you be like her?
Then you’ll tell me,
Skip this meal.
Go to the gym.
Stop going out.
You’ll finish with,
I’m done talking to you.
You’re selfish and rude.
Go live with your mother.
You don’t realize how bad it hurts.
Your words stick with me.
My self esteem lowers,
I look at myself differently.
You don’t know what’s going on.
You take me to therapists that deem me crazy.
But maybe, you’re the one who makes me this way.
Maybe it’s your fault.
Maybe you’re the reason,
I have anxiety,
I’m depressed,
I’m a people pleaser.
You put me through hell.
But, the feeling is mutual.
I hate you,
And you hate me.
Simple as that
