Zeus and his Thunderbolt
Zeus and his Thunderbolt
As the day went on, Zeus grew more and more angry. He grew angrier than Hades in the darkest, deepest, depths of Hell.
But then suddenly, I heard the rumble of the skies, felt the tremble of his hands, and saw the grumbling under his breath.
Then, boom! I was hurled toward the earth, going an astronomical rate, as fast as a cheetah, leopard, and lion combined.
Before I knew it, I struck land, lighting up the sky and igniting the ground below me.
My strike was like a thousand electrical currents running through the earth.
I decimated anything and everything in my path.
Then I was pulled by the extreme force of Zeus, and I was back in his grip within seconds.
The cycle continued, I was always the one to express Zeus’s anger, show his power, and frighten those who went against him.
After all, I am his thunderbolt and I am always by his side.
