Why do we do it?
No one can quite explain the reason why they let the invisible hands of pleasure and defeat consume them
Maybe its because the whispers of quick ease are desirable
The emptiness of the mind allows for adrenaline to surge, then crawl back so nothing can be felt yet something strong still pumps through the body
Maybe they let life pause in half closed eyelids and thumps to get the feeling of rebellion or the "no-stress" headache
More and more the body is taken over by an invisible power that is stronger than an army of a hundred men.
More and more they continues to live in a daze because as fast as relief comes, it leaves as well
Depression must be the cause!
But depression is the result
It turns from a hero to a villian where the master has an influence that takes over every aspect of life
Maybe something else taking control is what people are searching for since life is too complex to bare
Drugs lead to a labryinth of confusion almost impossible to escape
So, why do we do it?
