Hades' Helm of Darkness
Hades' Helm of Darkness
As my body wraps around his head,
I feel his fury emanating like flames.
I am Hades.
I am his power and strength.
In the heat of hell I preside
And allow my owner invisibility.
As a trident brings storms,
My hands bring fear.
My hero Hades holds me captive
For my power towers over all else's.
Once on the head of my dear friend,
He, at once, rules the dead.
My creator the cyclops was both smart and wise,
For the sinners fail to recognize my abilities.
My shiny clothing and golden coat
Strike down the murderers, heretics, and greedy.
Crash go the bodies as they fall like rain
Into the pits of the underworld.
My master smiles and welcomes them
As they languish and faint with fear.
I am Hades's helm of darkness.
I am his power and strength.
Without me there would be no ruler
For those summoned to the fire of hell.
