Surface
Is it true?
You never really know a man until you walk a mile in his shoes?
One thing you learn,
Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness,
And little thing in between
But Neighbors always give in return.
People always look at what you portray
Like you must feel happy even on a bad day.
No one ever stops and thinks
“Maybe that’s what they want me to see.”
They travel on
Never wondering.
Maybe they say something wrong,
Treat you meanly,
Until one day,
That your neighbors are bring food to your family,
And not because they can’t buy their own food.
