The Ragged Old Man
It was a dark and stormy night
The wind was howling.
A young boy walks outside,
Told never to
judge a book by its cover,
approached by a man as old as the hills
with a beard of white ragged
and spotted with dirt
looking fit as a fiddle,
the young boy was soon scared out of his wits
as a knife was pulled out of the shadows.
Time heals all wounds
But this one can’t be saved,
You only live once
