Walking out of the house,
closing the blue door,
strolling off of the gray porch,
on to the brick pavement,
As I saw it.
The ominous shadow,
creeping towards me,
slithering on to the pavement,
where I was about to step.
Red, orange, brown stripes,
became visible as it drew closer.
Fear strikes me.
Disbelief of that horrific sight,
As I saw it.
