I'm Ok
I'm ok
We say it all the time
But do we really mean it
Okay is a cover up
We hide behind it
We use it to push people away
Even though at that exact moment
We need them most
Sometimes Ok is all we have left
When we want to cover our emotion with a smile
We say I'm okay;don't worry;nothing is wrong
Anyone who says these is a liar
You're anything but okay
In fact your far from it
You say it to make yourself feel better
You say it to get others to stop worrying
But you and I both know it's a lie
That you'd rather be crying instead of smiling
Sometimes we say okay because we think no one will understand
No one will understand what we're going through
But we all do...we've been there too
So please I'm begging you
Stop saying I'm okay
