Jealously is like a grass bur,
Reaching out,
Trying to grab anything close-
Digging its roots into people.
It's the monster under the bed;
Lurking until it finds something-
Something worth its angry nature;
Bringing out the worst in people.
Jealously is a beating heart;
Living inside every one of us,
Tying all sorts of emotions together-
Love and hate all in one place.
