Teenagers vs. Society
Society can be judgemental,
especially to us teenagers.
They say we’re trouble,
we’re all just “bad children.”
Society only remembers
our silly mistakes.
They don’t realize
society has made mistakes too.
Society doesn’t look
in-between the lines.
They don’t really understand,
we all had our reasons.
Society complains about our looks,
tattoos and piercings are not allowed in their book.
They think it’s all junk,
“We look weird” they say.
Society judges and judges,
until someone breaks down.
They take their life away,
to leave all of the judgemental looks.
Society feels bad,
“Oh, what a pretty girl.”
They question what happened,
but don’t realize it was their words that caused this.
