If You Had Never Come
If you had never come, I’d never learn how to laugh
My sandwiches would still be whole, and never cut in half
I wouldn't have any one to share good news with, or my favorite song
If anyone else knew all my secrets, we would never get along
If you had suddenly disappeared, to some you would have never been
But I’d still remember your laugh by heart, and all the trouble we get in
Not a soul would hear my rants that usually have no end
If you were never here, I wouldn't have my best friend, a person to have my heart
I may be too young to know what love is, but you’re a real good start
