Stretched Out
Thousands of rubber bands
snap at my heart
lonely
angry
excluded
a
l
o
n
e
They gather inside of me
clamp a hand over my mouth
when I almost
lose it.
But what happens
when your feelings
are too strong
to control?
Will they flow out
like an endless fountain,
or they come out
and you and just
break
down.
Will they eventually
B U R S T
and fly
with the wind?
But could they
eventually
crush
your soul
and wither
your bones?
Snap
crack
never
break.
Save
your
heart.
Save
your
soul.

These feelings are true for me, and this poem means a lot to me because my sisters act like best friends, then exclude me.
