Owners
Owners
Dear Owner,
I am a dog, and you’re my owner.
In that case,
When are we going to play together?
When do I get to eat?
Did you lose my chew toy?
When am I getting my haircut?
When are you going to give me a bath?
Can I come inside the house? I don’t have a doghouse.
Am I in your way?
All day I sit around with no one to be with.
All night I talk to the stars, but they can’t stay forever.
I don’t feel special to anyone.
Please don’t hurt me.
I won’t hurt you.
I’m lost, cold, and confused.
There isn’t a day that goes by when I wonder,
What did I do wrong?
