No Wonder
  No wonder you left,
how do you deal with someone
who has crystal tears running down her cheek
and has red beads breaking the surface of her thighs?
No wonder you walked in the other direction,
how do you stay with someone
who is constantly pushing you away
but then pulling you back again with her fragile arms?
  No wonder you turned around,
  how do you love someone
  who cannot even love herself
and feels like the whole world is against her?
  No wonder you stopped trying,
  how do you convince someone
who is begging the Lord to end her life
that she is needed on this earth by other people?
No wonder you let her go,
how do you prove to someone
that her smile is everything to you
and her laughter is the only music you need?
  No wonder you’re broken,
how do you get over someone
  who you loved so dearly
but she took her life because the sadness was too much?
No wonder you’re in her place,
  how do you recover
after your world tragically crashes down
and you’re stuck with crystal tears and red beads?
