The Path Unspoken

Some are the victims of this cruel state of being.
Some are the state of being.
But most are the ones watching,
nothing to be said.
Silence.
The victim is taunted and a joke
while the joker thinks it's funny.
The bystander sits and stares
afraid to speak their mind.
Unspoken.
But, wait. Who's that?
One so brave to defend and protect.
Once just standing near,
this person is what noone else dares to be.
Heard.
