The girl that laughed a little too loud,
That loved a little too easy,
That wore a mask so deeply rooted; even she could not see where it began… and where it ended.
When I die will you remember me?
My thoughts,
My hopes,
My dreams.
You all scream yes, but those are just empty promises, whispered by empty hearts.
I’m just another number,
Another sad girl,
Another tragic story.
I want to be remembered.
I want to be extraordinary, but in a world where everybody is “exceptional",
how am I supposed stand out?
Truthfully, despite my efforts, I know that, eventually, I'll drift away into oblivion.
