Reflections
Reflections have a strange way
of making us lose ourselves.
The person in the morning is
not the same person that we
see after seven long hours of
enduring a genuine education
and that is not the same person
we see on Christmas morning.
I think we lose ourselves in our
outward image. We get caught
Up in looking for the imperfections
that we hope no one else notices.
We often find ourselves too fat
or too thin, too pale or too dark to
fit in, but shouldn’t it be about
standing out?
We try so hard to find who people
think we should be that we lose who
we are meant to be, so my advice to
you is stop searching for who people
want you to be and become who you
are meant to be, don’t be passive, but
don’t let other people control your
future.
You’ll find yourself drowning in an
ocean composed of empty expectations
and lost people.
